Hāpai Card – Launched in Christchurch in 2020 the Hāpai Card is now accepted in participating businesses Nationwide. Based on the application a card is issued which shows the icons (pictures) that relate to the person’s barriers. By presenting their card the person can expect to receive a customer experience that reflects the icons on the card. In many participating businesses the cardholder can get a discount, and where the card shows that the cardholder needs a carer, the carer will get a free/discounted entry/ticket.

Parking: There are 20 dedicated mobility parking spaces. These are for vehicles displaying a mobility parking permit. To use these spaces: between 6am and 6pm your first 2 hours are free, then usual rates apply, after 6pm and on weekends there is no charge. You do not have to park in a mobility space to get the discount – just need the card For the concession, take your mobility card to a pay machine, press the help button and talk to our team before driving to the exit. Escape Masters Auckland CBD – We don’t offer a specific discount to players with disabilities. However, we would go out of our way to accommodate players with disabilities depending on the players circumstances. For example, we recently had teams of deaf players so audio puzzles needed to be changed. And for players in wheelchairs, we relocate some of the room furniture. Mt Albert Aquatic Centre – New Management: The new prices we have for the customers adult with disability are $4.90 for swim, and if they want to use the adult spa, steam and sauna room is $6.10. The support worker or caregiver is $2, and if they want to assist the client in the adult spa or steam and sauna, they will need to pay an extra of $2.00. For the client or customers, 16 years and under, they are free for a swim and can use the family spa. For the use of hydro slide, there will be an extra charge of $5.40 per person

Crystal Mountain – We provide a service of free caregivers for those with disabilities. Our prices are Fun pass 3-12yrs $25 Ultimate pass 3-12 yrs $35.
Our mid-week during school term special pricing is $15 per person with the caregiver going free for the fun pass as our ultimate pass is not available those days. With regards to outside food: Can bring puree food, and an individual lunchbox if they are extremely allergic/ intolerant to something. The pass is for the day, so they are able come and go as they please from the park during park hours. (Update April 2026)

We are on a steep site with lots of steps and stairs so not all of the park is accessible to everyone. The area at the top of the park is easier going and is suitable for wheelchairs with assistance.
