Chinese Families Autism Support Group Meeting

The Parent and Family Resource Centre (trading as Disability Connect) is delighted to announce the Chinese Families Autism Support Group meeting in March.

At the start of the school term, support for children with special needs is often the questions parents seek. There are different types of support offer by Ministry of Education to support students with learning needs. The topic of this meeting will be on the learning support by Ministry of Education, focusing on transitioning from Early Childhood Centre to Primary School.

Katherine Reilly and Imogen McLeod, Practice and Implementation Advisors at Ministry of Education will deliver the presentation in English and Mandarin interpretation will be available. There will be English handout available. The presentation is starting promptly at 10am.

All Chinese and Asian families raising a child with autism are welcome to this meeting. Please inform as many parents as possible about this meeting.

**If you are a professional working in the disability sector, there will be a $50 charge for attending this families support group.
