Complex Care Group and the Federation: Complex Care Group and the Federation are delighted to invite you to Workshop 11 in our series of workshops as part of our Pathfinder programme.   This is a series of facilitated workshops for disabled people and their families, tāngata whaikaha Māori, Pasifika disabled and family, whanau, aiga – via Zoom.  These hui promote information exchange and sharing of personal experiences.
Date: Wednesday 31st July, 12 noon till 1.30pmvia Zoom.
Topic: Staffing – Employing Support Workers.
Speakers: This Workshop will feature a Panel of presenters including Bron Foxx – Home Care provider, Cherie Cawdron – Private employer. We also plan to have a Support Worker give their view of the role.

Neurodivergent Parenting Course – 4-week course specifically designed to support families living with autism and ADHD. Learn how to build co-regulation, compassion and connection with your neurodivergent child. In this experiential course Hannah combines psychoeducation with mindfulness to give parents practical tools to reduce stress and gain an understanding of brain body parenting – through a neurodivergent affirming lens. Hannah is an NZAC counsellor working at Rainbow House and in private practice.
