Student Volunteer Army Grocery Delivery (updated 30 April 2020)
At present they are offering a free service in Central Auckland, East Auckland, North Shore, Hamilton, Wellington, Nelson and Dunedin to people who are 65+, healthcare workers, medically vulnerable. Questions 0800 005 902, 9am-5pm Monday-Saturday. Click here for their website.

Auckland City Mission “food bank” (updated 17 August 2020)
If you need a food parcel call ACM 09 303 9266 and speak to the Crisis Care team. You will then be given a time to collect from ACM distribution centre at 15 Auburn Street, off Boston Road in Grafton. Everyone must take ID with them.

Salvation Army food parcels (updated 17 August 2020)
Contact the Mt Wellington Salvation Army Community Ministry 09 379 7615 – or their local Salvation Army Community Ministry (ring 0800 53 00 00 to find your local ministry). You will be given a time to collect your food parcel.

Presbyterian support northern Presbyterian Church (updated 17 August 2020)
Call 09 309 2054 to arrange a pick up at 8 Madeira Lane, Grafton. Strictly no walk-ins and collections are strictly between 11-12am Mon-Fri.

St Vincent de Paul in Newton branch “food bank” (updated 17 August 2020)
Call 09 815 6122 or email – Auckland@stvinnies.co.nz and they can deliver a food parcel.

Nga Whare Waatea Marae (updated 17 August 2020)
The drive-through food bank is operating weekdays at Nga Whare Waatea Marae at 31 Calthorp Close, Mangere from 10am-2pm until further notice. Bring ID. Wait in car and kaimahi will awhi one whānau at a time.

Papakura marae food bank (updated 17 August 2020)
Open Mon-Fri 10am-2.30pm, 09 297 2036. Please phone to request a food parcel, someone will ring you back to do a phone interview, then food will be delivered. Only deliveries to Papakura and Manurewa areas currently.

Orakei Foodbank “food bank” (updated 17 August 2020)
Call 521 5712 and leave message on voicemail with details of how many in family etc. Parcels are only delivered on Tuesdays and Fridays to Orakei, Kohimarama and Mission Bay.

Hills Church on Hillsborough Road (updated 17 August 2020)
Can be emailed at office@hillschurch.nz. Please provide details on your needs and they will do their best to provide a food parcel. Hills Church has also offered to go shopping for those that cannot leave home due to self-isolation if needed.”

Waitakere Community Ministries 
They are on site from 8 am-12 pm Monday to Saturday. The Saturday will be a shorter day for rough sleepers to still be able to come and have showers etc. there number is 09 837 4471.

Glenfield Community Ministries
Food bank is operational Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10 am to 3 pm Phone number 09 441 2554 Deliveries will be Mon/Wed/Fri to match hours of Foodbank

Waitakere Salvation Army
Their offices on 7 View Road, Henderson is still open from Monday-Saturday from 8am-11am. Please contact 09 8374471 regarding referral information. Please direct any homeless to 7 View Road for breakfast, showers, and some laundry services. Salvation Army continues to work with our homeless community to get them into Motels during this lockdown. Westgate Salvation Army
Food Parcel request via leaving a message on our answering machine 09 833 8633 or by email. westgate.corps@salvationarmy.org.nz. Team will contact yourself or them regarding the availability of a food parcel within our Massey / Westgate area where this would be delivered in uniform.

Vision West
Vision West is operating food service delivery for those who cannot reach supermarkets. Drivers will deliver food parcels to people’s addresses but will not enter houses. The drop offs will be at the door or gate with confirmation texts sent upon arrival. Vision West will screen calls and help whanau who can get to supermarkets but are financially pressured to navigate WINZ and get a food grant to do so. Only those who cannot leave their homes for good reasons will be considered an urgent delivery. Generation Ignite
The Generation Ignite Foodbank is open from the back carpark at the New Lynn Community Centre, 45 Totara Ave, New Lynn from 1pm. This will be a drive-thru service (marked out with cones) where clients stay in their cars. The homeless on foot will still be able to collect from a table, with physical distancing spots marked out on ground. Supply is dependent on what is provided from food rescue partners, Kiwi Harvest & Fair Food. All volunteers will be wearing full PPE. Email: foodbank@generation-i.co.nz

The FONO
Pasifika Futures have established a family support COVID-19 relief package for families directly and indirectly affected by COVID-19. This will be calculated on a per family basis to enable the purchase of: preparedness packages’ (for vulnerable families), and/or ‘hardship packages’ (where families are affected directly by infection (including self-isolation).This support is available to any Pacific family in need. Non-Pacific families will be referred to MSD to access their packages of support. The funding support can be for household items, food and other supplies to sustain a family for 14 days, and can include items such as: Pre-made food parcels and food vouchers. Payment for essential utilities because of income reduction. Support to work and study from home and Medical costs. Resources will be distributed on an ‘as needs’ basis following assessment by staff, and approval by the Manager Social Services. Cash will not be given directly to people, instead funds will be paid directly to suppliers.
