Managing Anxiety Workshops February 2021

These meetings are to deepen our understanding of anxiety and discuss strategies that may help manage it.

This session is ONLY for disabled males, fathers, brothers and male mentors who are supporting people with disabilities.
Dave McMillian is a counsellor for people with Aspergers, Autism, ADHD and families, particularly with adults and teens.  Dave provides  therapeutic and skills based counselling around managing; stress, anxiety, relationships, anger, grief, depression, work, bullying, obsessions, addictions, school, organisational skills, memory issues  and sexual behaviour.  Dave supports families and caregivers to develop strategies so behaviours can be effectively reduced.  Here is some more information on Dave.

Judy Ng – Wednesday 24th February 10.30am-1.30pm – Book here

Judy Ng has nearly 20 years experience in working with people with disabilities. She worked for Explore Specialist Advice for 5 years as a clinical supervisor and facilitator for ASD programmes. Judy takes an integrated approach in therapy using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Trauma Informed Care. Her holistic approach has helped many people to overcome/manage their anxiety successfully.  Judy has presented at several of our zoom meetings during  COVID-19 lockdown, and was extremely popular.  Judy runs her own business Mi’Te Psychology.

Arletta van den Bosch – Wednesday 24th February 6-8.30pm – Book here

Arletta van den Bosch is an Integrative Child Therapist, working with children, young adults, their parents and caregivers.  Arletta provides training and professional development on autism and related topics, such as: anxiety, sensory issues, social supports and strategies for behaviours.  She runs her own business Child and Family Counselling
