Jingjing was born in Shenzhen, China. She came to New Zealand as an international student in 2000. She is passionate about helping people, especially Chinese families with disabled children who need extra support with a language barrier. She is hosting the Chinese Family Disability Support Group monthly events and engaging with families through WeChat while Yoky is on leave. Jingjing enjoys watercolour painting, gardening, and reading. Jingjing and her husband Dee have one child and he has mosaic trisomy 18, albinism, autism, intellectual disability, and vision impairment. Jingjing has a MSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Auckland and a Graduate Certificate in Arts (Interpretation in Health) from AUT.
