Fiona from Empowerment Trust will discuss how we may empower our children, young people and adults with disabilities who area differently abled, and vulnerable. For parents and caregivers keeping them safe is always a big concern.
About Empowerment Trust
Empowerment Trust has provided People Safety programmes in NZ for the past 27 years. The Fullpower Healthy Relationships is a programme developed with and for teens and adults with intellectual disabilities. It provides practical tools to build resiliency and to prevent bullying, violence and abuse. The programme covers all practical aspects of healthy relationships. It is full of resources as to where and how to get help.

We welcome all families caring for a person with a disability to attend this support group. Children are welcome, provided they are supervised by a family member.
Cost: Free for families Professionals – $50
